It felt like I was in a dream. It was the prettiest church, no prettiest building I have ever laid my eyes on. It was indescribable it was so just perfect. And it's not even done. I will definitely suggest going here at least once in anyone's lives. It inspired me to want to be an architect for five seconds. It was so perfectly pretty it should be a wonder of the world but it is a UNESCO world heritage site. Also down below are some questions I answered for you!!! 👇🏻
What is a UNESCO world heritage site?
It is landmark with protection under UNESCO because they have cultural historical and, or scientific significance. They are like mini world wonders.
How did Gaudi die?
Gaudio was a Christian man and he was very obsessed with finishing Sagrada Famillia. He was going to his morning confession when he saw a tram coming in front of him. He took a step back and BOOM he got hit with a tram from his back. You would assume people recognized him but remember how I said he was obsessed with finishing Sagrada Famillia. Well he didn't care what he looked like because he wanted to finish his work. So back to the story. He fell unconscious and he got ignored for a long while because he looked like a beggar. So when he was finally brought to the hospital he had to wait three whole days, because the staff kept dismissing him. Then the Chaplin of the church came and saw Gaudi. And told them that it was the amazing Gaudi but by then it was too late. Gaudi was dead. All because some doctors thought that he was a beggar. He only saw the completion of the first facade ( it has four facades).
