The Oldest Rainforest in the world

So a few days ago we went to the Daintree rainforest!!!!! Or the oldest rainforest in the whole world!!!!! A little bit of background...... Australia used to be connected to Antarctica but it wasn't cold it was all rain forest then they split and some of the trees in the Daintree would have been around during the dinosaur era. And there are some really cool trees in there like the strangler fig that envelopes the host tree and puts their roots into the ground then they "strangle" them.

Also while we were walking inside the Daintree we saw a Snake and a Eel. Then we walked to the only place on earth were two Unesco world heritage sites meet, I'll give you time to guess what two.......................... The Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree rainforest. We saw the beauty of nature. I would recommend to visit it at least once if you can and if not I recommend watching a documentary about it.

How I felt in the Daintree rain forest. I felt overwhelmingly small very unimportant because if something as beautiful and great can survive for millions of years it really switches your perception of the world. Also we got some really nice and homemade ice cream on the way back and it had so many interesting flavors!!!! Anyways thanks for reading my blog post the Daintree rainforest - Evi!!!
