I will be talking about the seven best things to do in Rome and some tricks that come with them.

1: Get some gelato. A highlight of Rome is getting some gelato here are some tricks. If the pistachio flavor is bright green, run it means that it is fake and filled with chemicals. Also look out for the sign Artignale because it means homemade. If you see that they have alot alot of flavours, ..... Run for the hills or to the nearest Venchi. Venchi is more like icecream but it is sooooo good. But then again if you don't really care just eat anywhere. (I just rhymed my share of carebear) Sorry next one

2: Go on a food tour of Rome. If you are a foodie like me then you NEED a walking food tour. We tried little hidden locations you would never have eaten at if not for the tour. Like the absolute best panini ever and even fried artichoke. Even some Roman delicacies like The suppli.

3: Go to the pantheon. If you enjoy Greek mythology then you should go here. It USED to be a temple to honor all the Roman gods. But now it's a church now dedicated to the Virgin Mary. But beware you might see people trying to sell scarves outside. At first I was like "Who would ever buy a scarf in this weather. But alas I walked up and realised buh buh buuuuuh that the dress code said NO SHORTS ( if you want the whole dress code for to the bottom of the page.) So we walked up and bought a scarf so I could enter. Sadly we realised that basically the dress code was enforced loosely but we are rule followers. So moral is don't bring shorts to the pantheon. Also for a cool little thing if you want ( we didn't) go to the pantheon on a rainy day to see the rain fall through the hole in the celling.

4: Go to the Colisseum. The Colisseum its a staple thing to do. It is where in Roman times Gladiators would fight to the death. Also fun fact there were elevators in the arena so they could release tigers, bears etc. It was an amazing place to visit. Another fun fact is that that the emperor Commodus (A Roman Empire from the Roman Empire times) participated in Gladiator fight ( they were obviously rigged) and the crowd found it tacky. One more fun fact is that you know thumbs up and thumbs down it came from the Gladiator times. If an Emperor desired to do thumbs up, good job you live but if an Emperor decided to give you a thumbs down well in modern times that's just mean but in Roman times well you died. So please go to the Colisseum. It has so much rich history. Before we move on to the next one I just gotta say that after we watched the Gladiator (movie).

5: Going on a hop on hop off bus tour. We went on the big bus hop on hop off bus tour and I was very interesting. I learned so much that it is crazy. Also you must get on before the afternoon rush (it starts at twelve the afternoon rush) We once got up late and it took so long to get on but it was worth it.

6: Seeing alot of the fountains. There are so so so many famous statues and fountains and I loved all the ones we saw. Also you might see little fountains while walking that's fresh so full up your water bottle!!! ( DO NOT FILL IF THE WATER IS GREEN PLEASE DONT FILL)

7: Seeing the Vatican. You might be like oh that's a cool part of Rome where is that. And to that my friend is say THE VATICAN IS ITS OWN COUNTRY!!!!!!! And it is definitely a full day thing and very enjoyable now I have yapped for a while so I will let you live your life but if you were curious about the dress code here it is

DRESS CODE FOR PANTHEON: COVER YOUR SHOULDERS AND KNEES NO MINI SHORTS AND NO SHORTS. SLEEVELESS SHIRTS. So to be safe just bring pants and a T-shirt and just no flip flops it's a church chill.
